Welcome to Borderline Creative Art. My name is Jane and I’m a 30-something year old woman (she/her) diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder (I’m just one alter of many in my system), Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Opioid Use Disorder.

I have always been very self-destructive in the ways that I dealt with past trauma and resulting issues. I had a hard time finding any hobby or interest that brought me joy, even if others in my system found their own passions easily. I started acrylic pouring (in earnest) in June 2020 as a new hobby and artistic outlet, and fell in love with it right away. Now I paint as a coping mechanism. I decided to start sharing my art as well as my struggles as a way to inspire others and reduce the stigma of mental illness and addiction.
